TGF tying eve. Feb. 11th

Hi guys, just thought i would let you know that i got a call to be a "special guest fly tyer" at a TGF evening event next week in Manhattan. Looks like me and 5 other folks will be tying. I think it starts at 6:30 p.m., and there's a $10 admission which includes a raffle ticket. It's at the Williams Club which is 37th street and Park Av. They gotta jacket and shirt with a collar dress code there, (i know, jeeze) but hey, you'll have fun and get to meet some folks you might not otherwise ever bump into. "Come on down" if you wanna hang. I think there's gonna be a varitity of flies being tyed, salt and fresh water. I'm gonna do Salmon/Steelhead. Your invited to bring your vise and tools, etc. and tye along also. If anyone wants to follow along with me, bring your largest Salmon fly hooks, Danville 6/0 thread and whatever hairwing materials you might have, some Krystal Flash or like material, and anything else you might like to use. I'll have PLENTY of stuff to use also. You got SLF, bring it. You got Seal Fur, bring it. You got Polar Bear, bring it. Don't forget a lamp if you wanna tye. All the flies we ("Special guest") tye will be raffled also. See ya there. mark..........607-498-9944

Well since that one didn't work....................lol, let's see now. How many of you guys are truely conservationist? In my book that would automatically mean membership in TGF. Especially if your also a fly fisherman. TGF has been in the fight longer than any group on the east coast. You know Lee Wulff is lookin' down right here, right now, and watchin me try to pull your coat, and shakin' his head at all the lip service he see/hears..............but what about the put your money where your mouth is. He was a founding member, so NOW what you got to say? ........I don't wanna hear it, i'll believe it when i see it. mark.........

Here's your last chance to get it together guys. You know apathy is a terrible thing. And Dan when you read this, remember that last sentence. It's apathy that is the root of all fly fishing related problems. People who don't get off their ***** and do their part. Well, only you gotta live with yourselves. You wanna learn something and help out a good cause, show up. Be there, or be square. mark...........
