My suggestion is not to use a guide. Get to the river in the morning and walk and wade for smallies. Use wooly buggers, crayfish imitations or if you're spin fishing use senkos or Rebel crawfish. A guide will cost you $250 minimum and you have to do the cha-cha with the guide boat and all the bullshit that goes along with it.
