Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

2006 FishIn Ste-Marguerite Rv Quebec

fcch

Salmo salar addict
Well, ... Finally got up the courage to try this, ... We'll try to get a FishIn organized over on FAOL for next summer.

The destination is the Ste-Marguerite river here in Central Quebec.

Adult Salmo salar, Grisles and sea run brookies. .... Might just be your chance to try out our home waters.

(Thanks Dennis for letting me cross post).

Chris,

I would really be interested in something like that. I could combine it with a visit to my wife's family in Montreal.

Rick,

I'll keep you posted on developements.

Thinking of early August, ... won't conflict with too many hatches down there and before kids go back to school.

here's another tentative "I'm interested".

next year is a Looong time away for me, but hey, keep us posted on developments
and plans!

Norm,

There are lakes and rivers in the area that have Brook trout.

We are an Atlantic Salmon river, ... but the advantage is that we also have sea run Brook trout in the same river.

We're 530 km from montreal or 260 from Quebec city. A description of my homewaters can be found at:

We got news on the weekend that the cottages at Bardsville WILL be open next year, so we may look into organizing the FishIn there. That way, we stay right on the river and you can fish 20 feet out in fron of the cottages.

Still ironing out the kinks in the organisation that will buy and run the site (which has been closed for the last 2 seasons). ,.... but they found some good corporate backing to get it back on it's feet.

I'll be back.
