Barnegat bay stripers

When might expect to start seeing stripers in the bay? I've have been spin fishing the surf for years and have done well..but am curious if my 8 weight fly set up will do well in the bay for stipers..any thoughts?

Haven"t been down there myself but from what I read and hear right now is prime time - there are stripers, blues and weakfish all over the bay.

Stripers have been banging for about a month now.The blues are coming on strong, to the point of being a real nuisance to the fluke anglers. Weaks are beginning to show up north, going strong down south and in Delaware bay with some biguns' showing up, 7-10 lbs.
