Correction - was. But we will build a new one. Different channel and not as deep, but a new swimming hole nonetheless.

Have you considered a time-lapse with the drone? I'm sure it would have been pretty damned cool.

Yes, but the editing will take some time. We only yesterday got a sunny day to capture the post restoration video and photos. We had the drone pilot take the same shots each day in addition to other video and stills. And I want to fly it again next spring when everything is greened up once again.
