For all you Pack Rats... they'll have at least 100 tables of STUFF to buy!
Super fly fishing day
The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum is combing its Annual Summerfest, Anglers' Market, and Jubilee Day to create the largest single day event in its 27-year history.
Traditionally held on the last Saturday of August, The Anglers' Market and Summerfest now moved up to Aug. 10. The Market will consist of at least 100 tables of fly tying material, fly fishing collectibles, gadgets and items of general outdoors interest.
Summerfest and Jubilee Day will include local civic organizations, health centers, farmers produce market, crafts and games for kids.
Activities will include a kids-only fishing derby at 11:30 a.m., a bamboo rod casting clinic, and The Fly Fishing Antique Roadshow at noon to help you identify and appraise attic finds. The Great Willowemoc 50/50 fish race will be held at 1:30 p.m.
There will also be fiddle music, a barbecue, petting zoo and pony rides.
For more information on how to participate or become a vendor, contact the museum at (845) 439-4810 or visit the Web site at The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum @ CCFCM.net.
