Mr. Seldon, thank you for the info and the invite. I have known about the Symposium for a few years now, and would dearly love to attend. But as i will be in Montana for the FFF I.C. in Aug., (I'm obligated to tye flies for the event), i won't be able to attend this year. Perhaps the sponsering organization might think about schedualling next years Symposium the week directly before or after the FFF I.C. next year?? As a member of a few (TU, TGF, FFF, DRF, ASF, etc.), conservation organizations i am very interested in the ciricula you have set up for discussion/learning/study. It truely looks like a great opprotunity for anyone interesting in finding out what it's all about, or furthering their knowledge. Hoping i can make it next year. mark j. romero (willowhead)

Dear Mark:

Lets try to get together at the FFF Conclave. The FFF Web site (www.fedlyfishers.org) has you tying at Table 17 from 1-4 on Wed. 8/18

TU and the FFF are Cosponsors of the Iternational Wild Trout Symposium and this is our 30th Anniversary year. They are typical held every three years and as late as we can get the facilities without snow.

The FFF with its focus on all species and all waters, the promotion of the enjoyment of the sport, as well as conseravtion and public education. has a broad palette of learning and teaching opportunities. I would you suggest you start with the FFF web site and then get down to specifics with the V.Ps of the areas that interests you. They are also listed in Flyfisher Magazine.

Hi Marty, i'm a life member of FFF and TU, and may be soon joining the board of the Northeast Council of FFF. I'm working on trying to bring the Northeast Council Conclave back to Roscoe, n.y. where i think it belongs. Reason being, the location is handy for all who may want to attend......good fishing and easily reached by all. In previous years it was held here quite successfully. Thank you for the communication. mark j. romero
