I just found this site. Since Tristate Trout really seems to be shutting down, I'm just wondering if some of my old friends are located here on this site. KLG Neighbor, One more cast, CAM, Martalus, RobTF, Twism86, TF4L, NJAngler,Rusty Spinner, etc. Are you guys here? Max (my dog) and I miss you.

Hi Denny! I think only martalus and Rob are missing from the lineup. TF4L goes by mal1924 here, but it's been a while since I've seen him post. Good to have you and Max here!

He really is knowledgeable about FF and trout, especially the larger cousins of what we find in NJ. Don't let my battles get in the way of tapping into that resource.

Howdy, Denny! The gang's all here. By the way, I have a different take on the "site bully". I see him more as the site protaganist. Perhaps that's just semantics, but I think his heart is in the right place most of the time. When he's not busting chops, his posts are well thought out and it is apparent that he has a lot to contribute. Welcome to NEFF

Maybe you shouldn't go it "Cold turkey" . Perhaps you should slowly transition to a single-hook spinner, like a Mepps size zero, and then go barbless for a while, before you make the full plunge back to flies.

With the closure of TST, I just felt that I had been thrown off a moving boat and there I was watching some people I care about sail off to God knows where. I was just trying to find out where they went. End of Story.

Yikes! Please tell me that JTD has not found NEFF! If so, I'm sure AK Skim will keep him in line and KLG Neighbor always enjoyed doing the same back in the NJTrout days. Matt, you're right on target, this sounds exactly like JTD.

Oh well, sitting inside bored to tears awaiting the big rains that look like they are still hours away. Time to tie up some Iris Caddis - or was that Irish Cabbage?
