Made it out today for some Striper action

i did the same thing last yr on a friends boat..every time i bring that flyrod its bad luck it seems..they were trolling with plugs and every drift kept getting 2 hookups on big bluefish every drift..it was down like 30 ft..they had it marked.i noticed that 2 or 3 other bluefish would follow them in when a fish was caught.when they both had hookups they would play the fish a bit longer to give me time to get out enough line where they were and bang!..got 4 blues that were from 9-11lbs..not really flyfishing but the fight was just the same. i still havnt hit a striper blitz yet but i will..i go to conn. alot and catch quite a few, but all shorts.
