Not just trout

I took a break from trout fishing this weekend and decided to head out with my father and few friends on his boat.

We left the dock at 7:00 am

Leaving the bay heading offshore hoping for some big fluke and seabass.

The days catch, a nice mix of seabass and fluke. We fished for 6 hours on some reef/wreck bouncing bucktails and had constant action.

My two "big ones" They measured 25 and 23 inches.

Our buddy bill always knows how to welcome a boat back to port.

Where are the tuna and sharks??? Really nice boat......You and TT should float the big D in that instead of TT's party pontoon.

This weekend was the makomanina tournament and it would of been a cluster fuck at the grounds,
So We opted for wreck fishing.

Trouser trout has a glorified pool raft too?

I bet that was a good choice....I dont't really think TT has a pontoon, he seems a bit too refined, but I read a post of his that threatened to take the kids and a large unwieldy boat and float the D and toss rocks......that sounds like a day of unmeasurable fun and laughs!:)

can i get a little info?? where u went out of (looks like pt pleasent).

Thinking of going wreck fishing myself this coming weekend. some nice fluke and sea bass would be very nice to bring home

TT does in fact own a 21' Suntracker fishin barge. And yes I would fish the big D with it.

Honestly dude I haven't a clue where we fished but we were a few miles offshore in 70 ft of water all day and the boat isn't docked in Pt. Pleasant.

But I can tell you this much where we fished there were a lot of lobster pots in the water and only a few other boats drifting these rocky areas. We were no where near the "fleet".

Some fine table fare G ! Got them off the rocks very nice! Have to get down there soon the reports have been good as of late.. Nice report and boat !
