Sault St. Marie

Hey,
I'm planning a trip to Sault St. Marie near the end of September. Hoping to fish the St Mary's rapids for pinks. Anyone have any experience there? Specifically, is it likely to be a zoo like the Salmon, or am I likely to have at least a small portion of river to fish. I'm expecting to be there midweek. Coming home by way of Algonquin Park. Anyone have any experience fishing the Northwest part of the Park?. Thanks in advance for any help. Toodles,Frogge.

I don't know about the fishing, but I was standing at waters edge at St. Mary's cut when I looked up and saw a 1,000 footer laker coming at me...

Amazing the amount of water she displaced.
