"Belmont" Bamboo - Montague?

Hello everyone - I'm new to this board, but belong to NGTO, a great site for GA trout fishing. I travel in the Northeast quite a bit, so I'm sure I'll visit often.

I'm looking for some help to identify a bamboo fly rod I've recently purchased. Here's the description:

9'-3 equal lengths, only 1 tip, red agate stripper, gold wrappings, appears to be in excellent condition (rod, ferrules, cork, etc), all pieces straight and even, supposedly flamed tonkin bamboo, casts a 5wt dt well and good for dry fly fishing, the word "Belmont" is inscribed in the cane, no other markings.

I've not found much at all to ID this rod, but someone did thinks it's most likely a Montague. I plan to fish the rod, but just curious as to it's maker, time of manufacture, etc. I know Montague made a ton of production rods, so curious if this one is high/mid/low grade, etc.

Thanks a bunch,
Coachman
