Marthas vineyard-STRIPER HEAVEN!!
Two years ago I spent two weeks there with the family,and the striper fishing was incredible!AS ALWAYS.
If you have never been there we should talk about it since I know the island pretty well.(Where to fish)

As far as logisitics are concerned, and from what I recall, the best conditions and action are over at the other end of the island i.e. Lobsterville beach etc. Keep in mind that the Chappy ferry stops running around 11. p.m. If you plan on fishing all night then the ferry schedule isn't important. I haven't fished the other parts of the island at night. Wasque is excellent but the surf can be rough and the wind strong. Lobsterville and Menemsha calm down after sunset. Good luck. The patterns are mostly sand eels
and the smaller the better. Anything I can help you with, give me an e-mail. Joe T. probably has more current advice. I haven't been up there in 3 years and I really miss it.

Actually on June 6th a bunch of us from the site are getting together on the west branch to fish for the day.
Everyone is welcome.
As far as the "gathering" I am up there almost daily at that time of year and I am sure Ill be stopping buy once or twice.
